Cigna offers Nonemergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). The NEMT benefit provides transportation to health care appointments for members who have no other transportation options.

Members can call in to schedule their rides. Call Access2Care at 1 (888) 721-8184, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm CT, excluding state-approved holidays.

Where's My Ride

Members can call for their rides home and/or check on the status of their scheduled rides. Call Access2Care at 1 (888) 721-8184, Monday-Saturday, 8 am-7 pm CT.

This program is in place to help you get to a doctor’s visit for the care you need. This program is not for emergency transportation. If you have an emergency and cannot get a ride, call 911.

You should call for a ride as soon as you make your medical appointment.

For routine medical care, you need to call at least two working days or more before your visit.

If you have a visit outside of the county you live in, you will need to call at least five working days before your visit. The sooner you call, the better.
